Student Financial Support
The ICCFD7 Committee is planning to support a limited number of qualified students with financial aid. Priority will be given to students who are first authors in an accepted paper.
Financial assistance of up to a maximum of $750 per student will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the Conference Organizing Committee. The awards may be applied to the following:
- Free shared housing accommodations (shared hotel room with another student) ($500 applicable to cover the hotel costs/shared room for 5 nights)
- Option of reduced Student registration fee (you will be reimbursed $250) OR an upgraded registration to full Technical registration (with your prepaid Student registration of $375 (you will gain access to reception and Luau—value of $250)
Financial aid notifications will be made during the week of June 25th.
All applications should be emailed to the ICCFD7 conference chair by May 21, 2012 to be considered.

Best Student Paper Award
A best student paper award will be given to the paper submitted by a student that contributes the most to knowledge in the field. To be considered for these awards, please email the ICCFD7 conference chair with your contact information and the following:
- Educational background
- Brief description of how your paper contributes to, or impacts your field (~500 words)
Papers will be peer reviewed during the conference and winners will be announced on the evening of Thursday, July 12.
All nominations should be emailed to the ICCFD7 conference chair by May 21, 2012 to be considered.
